FAQ's

How long does treatment last?

Therapy is a personal journey, and there’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some clients feel better after a few months of support, while others prefer long-term work to address deeper wounds. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is aligned with your goals—not a clock.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. I work exclusively with private pay clients to maintain flexibility, privacy, and clinical autonomy. However, I can provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your plan allows.

What are your session fees?

  • $175 – Individual Therapy

  • $225 – Couples Counseling

  • Sliding scale available for students, young adults, and early-career professionals.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for students, early-career professionals, and individuals experiencing financial hardship. Let’s talk about what’s possible.

What issues do you specialize in?

I specialize in working with:

  • First-generation Latinx professionals and students

  • Complex and intergenerational trauma

  • Childhood emotional wounds

  • Anxiety, burnout, and imposter syndrome

  • Cultural and identity exploration

  • Immigration-related stress and transitions

Do you offer therapy in Spanish?

Yes, I provide therapy and evaluations in both English and Spanish.
Sí, ofrezco servicios completamente en español.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy focuses on healing the past and managing mental health concerns like trauma, anxiety, and stress.
Coaching (like my Femtorship for Early Career Latinas) is future-focused—it’s about goals, confidence, and building your professional identity. I offer both, but they serve different needs.

Are virtual sessions available?

Yes! I offer HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions to clients anywhere in California. Virtual therapy offers flexibility while still maintaining a strong therapeutic connection.

Do you provide clinical supervision?

Yes. I offer individual supervision for ASWs working toward LCSW licensure in California, with a trauma-informed, culturally affirming lens. I also provide femtorship coaching for early-career Latinas in mental health seeking mentorship beyond licensure.
